RICOH Tournament 2017

Last Wednesday we took 5 teams to the annual RICOH Sport Tournament here at the Arena and Manawaroa Park. College Street, Riverdale, Hokowhitu and Central Normal took part and it was an amazing day of tough competition and great camaraderie. Our Hockey Team managed to come 3rd overall and Rugby took out 4th place overall. Netball and Soccer both placed 5th and Basketball came in 6th. Tyler Mauchline was recognised by the coaches/organsiers for his fairplay, Well Done Tyler!

Turbos Visit Russell Street.

Today we were very lucky to have Liam Hallam-Eames and Tuki Raimona from the Manawatu Turbos come in and inspire us, answer some questions and play some great rugby with us. Everyone left feeling excited and enthused. They were very impressed with the level of athleticism on show and the high levels of respect and manaakitanga. We wish the Turbos all the best for their next home game against Tasman.
